"The Night Before Christmas" Part 7
"So try to be grateful, your life is so grand!
You should take time this year,
to give OTHERS a hand!''
I knew Santa was right, I needed no toy.
I should count my blessings, and be full of joy!
''And why just stick to Christmas?', Santa said with a wink,
'Do it all the year long, it's not as hard as you think!
'Donate food, money and clothes, and give of your time,
When you give to help others, EVERY DAY'S Christmastime!''
Then he was gone. Up the chimney, away!
Out into the night, in his noisy ole sleigh!"
Next time: Our thrilling, preachy conclusion!

Santa has a great point. I've been trying to give more and more this year. Sometimes I (and I think many of us do) forget how lucky we are.
Also... You love leaving booze out for ol' Saint Nick, don't ya?!
An adult beverage left for Santa is a tradition in my family. My Dad maintained that it helped Santa "keep the chill off".
My dad was also of the mindset that Santa preferred beer and pretzels in place of milk and cookies. Oh yeah, and Beer Nuts for the reindeer.
Only ONE left?!
Santa's fantastic - the cookie AND bottle! This "series" looks good on your BW - would love to see you adapt other stuff . . . . . hmmmmm.
Beer nuts for the reindeer! I knew there was SOMEONE out there that liked them.
We always left carrots. The fact that all of them were gone in the morning was rock-solid proof to me that Santa was real.
