Holy Wait Between Posts, Batman!

Sorry for the lack of posts lately here, kids. Right now, I am in the middle  of a  buncha stuff, and I haven't had the time or energy to post. Special apologies for those of you who were waiting for me to reveal the explanation for the illustration from my last post. Patience, please. I can almost somewhat sorta guarantee that the aforementioned explanation will be well worth the wait.

In the meantime, here is a colored in doodle from  my sketch pile. Nothing special, but then, a lot of the stuff I doodle is nothing special. Looking at this drawing now, I probably shouldn't have posted it. It really ain't too good. Hey, they can't all be gems!

Actually, this kinda looks like a crappy DC Comic  from the Seventies. That's no excuse, though!
