When asking guests ...This may seem obvious as well. When asking guests to leave, ask them all, don't pick who may and may not stay, especially when those who can stay are in mid- conversation with those who can't. Discretion comes in handy at a time like this. Sensitive people may get offended, and may not ever want to come back, which I suppose may be mutually beneficial. Luckily I am completely insensitive, which may become evident in this post. I know 7PM may seem like overstaying one's welcome to some, but when its an hour drive home, and the invitation to stay late (even when instructed to pay the expense of a babysitter) was made weeks before, a sensitive guest may feel bum rushed at 7PM. Then when said guest reads a blog about how rude he or she was, the sensitive guest may feel downright insulted, and may not read the blog again. Again, luckily, I have no feelings and will continue read the blog until I've stored up enogh venom to post again.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
